The Amateur Association is pleased to offer the following awards –

Amateur Sportsmanship Award

This award is presented annually to an Amateur member, based on submissions and voted on by the Board of Directors. The award is presented at the Annual Banquet.

Spruill Support Award

Spruill Support Award (3)revised

An award created in memory of Wade Spruill, whose behind the scenes support was invaluable to MQHA and his wife Dianne. Wade assisted in many ways at the shows, from opening gates, to running for equipment, helping set patterns, to financial support of the Amateur Scholarship Fund, all of which we are extremely grateful,

An award in recognition of those people,whether they are members of the association, or not, who act behind the scenes, who, without their help & support, would have a detrimental effect on the productivity of the association,

An award selected annually based on submission of nominations. Nominations will follow prescribed format and submitted in “pdf” to the Committee Chair by 12:00 midnight October 30th.

The award is presented at the Annual Awards Banquet.
